Journal Entry 1 [Hackable by Expert only]

Digital World Report 1.
Subject; Initial Research of Digital Being Anatomy
Specimen 005. These creatures, known as Digimon, are an interesting specimen. From what BlackV-mon has told me, they come in a large variety of categories. Using this....D-Comm device that I found upon my person when I arrived in this world, I have been able to scan different Digimon and gain knowledge on them.
I have erected a small lab here in the forest I originally appeared in. There are Digimon here, but no towns or villages within the vicinity, as BlackV-mon has told me some Digimon dwell within. It seems they are civilized creatures, but to the same extent as most Mobians are. Their technology is advanced, but not beyond my understanding.
With the assistance of BlackV-mon, I have been able to capture a small handful of these creatures. I have been trying to gather as much general knowledge about Digimon as I can with these subjects. I have found that they apparently can “die” in a sense. BlackV-mon tells me they will be reborn after a time. Could these Digimon be immortal, or is there a way to extinguish their lives forever? I suppose that is research for another day. For now, I must see if I can find a way to keep the newest one alive long enough for an accurate dissection. Perhaps if I can find a way to sedate these creatures, I can find a way to keep them alive throughout an entire dissection. I know my research shall bear fruit soon enough.
Once I have enough knowledge of these creatures, I shall move out of these forests and begin research on the condition of this world. We shall see if this world is as corrupted as Mobius or if it holds a glimmer of hope. I doubt this world will be any different, but there is the small chance it will be. BlackV-mon as also told me of other Digimon with “Partners” like him and I are. I shall also need to investigate this as well. Perhaps there will be some rather interesting subjects or even worthy pawns to be found in his world.
[The sound of a door opening and closing is heard]
Doctor! I'm back with food! [The sound of BlackV-mon's voice can be heard in the distance.]
Very well! I shall be there in a moment! [Finitevus' voice calls back. Then a dark chuckle can be heard]
