Journal Entry 18 [Hacked appear as Remington. Video Post. Backdated to August 11th, 2010. Locked to]

[Video starts showing a smiling Remington. He is a bit dust and has a few bumps and bruises on him.]

Hello, Mr. Rose? This is Remington. I got the volcanic rock you needed. I hope I got it quickly enough for your liking. How is your experiment coming along?

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you have? Remarkable, really.

Shall I come to you to retrieve it, or you come to me? Either's fine.

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:31 am (UTC)(link)
I'll attach it as an attachment for you, Mr. Rose.

[Attached are two pounds of volcanic rock. Remy secretly wants to see if Dist remembers the amount Jade asked for.]

There you are.

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
[ Attachment: Declined. ]

Jade specifically said three, not two pounds, Remington. Perhaps you are lacking a bit more and need to continue to look?

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Oh dear. My mistake I forgot to attach them all.

[Attachment: Three pounds of volcanic rock.]

My apologies, Mr. Rose.

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
A moderate inconvenience, as well as a possible detriment to my research. Wouldn't you agree, Remington?

[ Attachment: Received. ]

I suppose your slip up will be forgiven. This time, that is. Make sure to not do it again, hmm~?

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
Of course sir. I didn't mean to mess up the attachment. Is there anything else I can do to help you?

[Well played Dist...well played.]

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
Or was it deliberate and you were unable to remember the specific quantity that Jade and I asked for? Really, I am just checking right now.

[ He didn't earn his title of God General just by his looks. ]

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not quite used to using the D-Comm yet, sir. It is unfamiliar to me still.

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps you should have someone help you? A dinky piece of technology like this should take about a day, two tops to master.

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:49 am (UTC)(link)
As I told you when we first met, technology is not my strong suit. I am a soldier, not a technician. The fundamental functions I have down, but the more complex I do not.

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:51 am (UTC)(link)
Then, if you are a soldier, why did you decide to cop a look at the data I left out just for a few minutes? Curiosity, or is there something you are not telling me, Remington?

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:53 am (UTC)(link)
You said it yourself, you left it out. I saw it and just looked. I was curious! Why do I feel like I'm being persecuted for just looking at the cookie jar here!

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
There was a glint in your eyes, Remington. I know that glint.

Come now, don't lie to me.

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:57 am (UTC)(link)
I...Alright. You're right. I was curious...more than curious. I...I guess it's in my blood...I'm sorry....

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
Then, shall we clear away the blatant lies and deceit?

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:00 am (UTC)(link)
....Alright.

[a heavy sigh.]

I'd rather talk about this in person. Can we please meet up? I...I would greatly appreciate it.

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:01 am (UTC)(link)
Very well. Where would you prefer to meet?

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:01 am (UTC)(link)
I can meet you where ever you are now. If you'd like.

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
Wandering the streets, mostly for spare metal to construct into robots.

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
Then I'll meet you at this old factory that is abandoned now. Maybe we can find you some parts there.

[Attached; coordinance to the factory.]

I'll see you soon.

[Action]

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:08 am (UTC)(link)
Very well.

[ Then, like that, he discreetly leaves his D-Comm on to record, but he's manipulated it so that no other feedback could be heard when he's secretly recording.

He then is in his chair, reclining back and looking at various junk heaps for valuable parts. So far, it's flimsy and otherwise uninteresting items. ]

Re: [Action]

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
[Remington walked through the factory door and over to Dist.]

Alright. So...do we search for parts first...or do you want to talk?

[Action]

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh, Dist could work this in his favor. He could kill two birds with one stone, get both his parts needed as well as talk. A sly smirk formed on his purple colored lips and his glasses glinted a little. ]

How about if we search for parts?

Re: [Action]

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
[Remington nodded and moved around the factory looking for parts.]

What kind of parts are you looking for, sir?

[Action]

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:25 am (UTC)(link)
Something that will be sturdy enough to support a long-term fighting robot.

Re: [Action]

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
[Remington searched through the many shelves of metals and materials. This was once a factory that specialized in making durable metals. If he could find something sturdy enough to satisfy Dist...]

How about this? The label says it is chron digizoid. From what I hear, that is one of the stronger metals in this world.

[Action]

[identity profile] reapingtheroses.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Dist studies him before he listens to what he has to say. Chron digizoid... He could very well use that to his advantage.

Nodding, he opened his hand for it to put it in his D-Reader for now. ]

Re: [Action]

[identity profile] warp-ring-tech.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[Reington gives the metal to Dist with a smile.]

Glad I can be of help. But that seems to be the last of it here. The rest of the shelf is empty. You might be able to find more in other factories.
